Lexar continues to be synonymous with storage and memory for many years. Since the inception of this column, I have been fortunate to examine most new offerings from Lexar, including flash drives, SSD drives and card readers. Last week I got a hold to two great offerings. Luckily, I have an abundance of them, so I am never without backup media. The two new drives that were tested were the Jump Drive P10 along with the Jump Drive S23. Both drives were immediately recognized by Windows 8, OSx Mountain Lion , Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Ubuntu 12.04. iHome, may be producing inexpensive (see the adjective is the fact that, and never CHEAP) accessories to your iOS devices for quite a while. Each device offers excellent, big sound and great value, in comparison with higher (possibly over priced) priced products. The iDL45 is the one other among those great products. It features a lightning connector for that newest iOS products, but in addition a USB (dual) charging and playing port for legacy products. It also boasts a large numeric clock display, as well as dual alarms with an AM/FM radio. The sound was unexpectedly impressive.
